The Department of Physics started in the year 2005. Since then, the Department is known for its innovative way of teaching Mathematics courses to students of College. Since 2022 The Department Has been Imparting 4 year FYUGP Under NEP 2020. The department is also involved in conducting extracurricular activities like- Quiz, essay writing, speech and workshop and related activities.
The Physics Department aims to be recognized for academic excellence through the depth of teaching, innovative ideological practices, and research and has worked towards becoming a center for advanced study in the various fields of Physics.
A graduate student in B.Sc.(Hons.) Physics from the college can pursue academic courses like B. Ed. and P.G. Courses like M. Sc. or M.S., followed by M. Phil. or Ph.D. The students can also explore areas like actuarial sciences, banking, civil services etc.
